David M. Pavlik is an alderman for the 32nd ward in the city of Chicago. He lives in Roscoe Village and is the budget manager in the Governor’s Office of Management for the State of Illinois. He is single and has a lot of plans for the city of Chicago.

One of his main goals is to create jobs in the city. Right now the rate of unemployment in Chicago is completely unacceptable. Pavlik promises that if he were to become alderman he would focus almost all of his energies on job creation, through providing incentives for small businesses so they can hire more people.

Mr. Pavlik says that he has already hosted one job fair which attracted more than 150 unemployed citizens of Chicago which he believes was highly successful.

David Pavlik also sees improving public safety and standards of education as a priority. He believes more resources should be put into this crucial side of running a city. As David Pavlik puts it, “ Chicago must be a safe and attractive location to raise a family.”
